He credits his eminence to political connections which have been fluent from the time of his father Dattatraya Mhaiskar, an important personality in the Dombivli- Kalyan municipal area off Mumbai. Considering his rapid enhancements, several income tax raids took place at Mhaiskar's office as well at house from which he came out clean and confirmed to perform at a better pace in next five years.

In lieu of expansion and more controlled balance sheets, he branched out half of his offices beyond Maharashtra and Gujarat into Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa and Karnataka in order to hedge risks.
